Saida Grundy wins 2024 Race, Gender, and Class Book Award
Saida Grundy’s book Respectable: Politics and Paradox in Making the Morehouse Man (University of California Press, 2022) recently won the ASA’s 2024 Race, Gender, and Class Distinguished Contribution to Scholarship Book Award. The award recognizes a scholar who “has made a significant contribution to the development of the integrative field of race, gender, and class through the publication of a book on the “cutting edge” of sociological inquiry.” Congratulations, Saida!
