Purchasing Animals


Laboratory animals are a highly sensitive commodity with regulatory requirements. The Lab Animal Science Center (LASC) are the University’s subject matter experts on animal purchases and works with a list of approved animal suppliers, all of which are registered or contracted suppliers.

 

Starting August 11th, all Lab Animals should be requested through the Animal Operations system (AOps). Shoppers should not create requisitions to request animals. Please follow this link for more information about Animal Operations.
