There is 1 comment on New Concerns about Children Born to HIV-Infected Mothers

  1. Unknown HIV infection in the exposed babies could account for some of the reasons for high mortality in sub sarahan Africa. Reason being that some babies may become infected after exposure and poor access to DNA PCR will lead to non diagnosis of HIV infection in the child.

Did this study exclude HIV infection as a cause of mortality among HIV exposed infants?
