Dear BUSPH Community,

In follow-up to the previous communications from Provost Waters and as discussed during the September 24 School Assembly, the Faculty Senate is pleased to officially launch the process to elect three faculty members to serve on the School of Public Health Dean Search Advisory Committee.

The faculty members who are appointed to serve on the advisory committee will have responsibility for directing the search effort and should be among our most thoughtful, engaged, and committed scholars, teachers, and leaders. We encourage wide representation from our community in the election process and are seeking self-nominations from candidates who: understand SPH’s unique strengths and opportunities for growth, reflect diversity of identities and lived expertise, and are excited to represent the varied perspectives of faculty, staff, and students.

Full time faculty with primary appointments at BUSPH interested in participating in the election for the Search Advisory committee must complete a self-nomination form, available here, by September 30 at 10 am.

Electronic rank choice voting will commence on October 1 and remain open until October 10 at 5pm ET.

Thank you in advance to you all for your participation in this important opportunity to shape the future of our community and school.

Sincerely,

Danielle Haley, Faculty Senate Chair
