Dear SPH Community,

I want to take a moment to express our strong support for our international students and scholars during a time of increasing uncertainty. As shared by the International Students & Scholars Office (ISSO), there has been a recent and concerning pattern of visa revocations and SEVIS record terminations by ICE involving a small number of BU students and recent graduates on OPT.

For more details, I encourage you to read the ISSO news update and the BU Today article on campus resources. An information session for impacted students will be held via Zoom today (4/9) at 4 PM and you may register here. In addition, a WAIS information session has been scheduled for faculty and staff who work closely with international students. This session will provide updates and guidance regarding these developments.
