Kendra Sims, PhD will be presenting at the Epi department’s first Antiracism Committee Talk of the 2023-2024 school year. Kendra is a Postdoctoral Associate working with the Glymour group, as well as with Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo's Cardiovascular Policy Model at the University of California, San Francisco. She received her MPH from Boston University and PhD from Oregon State University. Her research identifies how inadequate resources in the social environment contribute to excess disablement and premature morbidity among marginalized populations. She applies her ongoing training towards addressing individual, neighborhood, and policy barriers to health equity.
