  1. “A focus on the conditions that make populations healthy requires entanglement with issues that reflect political and social structures.” Thank you for this wonderful article and thoughtful, compelling arguments in support of boldness and higher, broader aspirations for our chosen field of public health. I ask that as we teach, study, and enagage as professionals, please consider including those of us on the front lines of implementation and practical applications of public health within the medical care system. Many administrators, managers, physicians, and other providers have matters level training in public health but do not feel invited to the table for community-level or more global conversations. The community is larger than those working in the public sector and together, we can all achieve more.
