  1. Dear Ann and the Epidemiology department. I am so very sorry to hear of George’s passing. I knew George as a member of the department and continued to ask about him each time I had the opportunity to chat with Ann. George’s dedication to assisting those affected by HIV, his kind mentorship and all around heartwarming personality will leave a deep hole for those of us who had the privilege to work with him, but his contributions will have lasting impact for many years to come. Thank you Ann and Gregory for sharing George’s spirit with us all.

  2. George’s passing is a major loss for us all. He was a keen intellect, an inquisitive scientist and a supportive mentor. He battled valiantly against cancer while maintaining a positive outlook. He was also a dedicated Mets and Red Sox fan, and I remember fondly the many Sox games that we shared together, through thick and thin.

  3. I knew George Seage, not at the School, but at the Franklin Park Golf Course where we occasionally paired up for early morning (about 6:30AM) golf. He was a pretty good golfer, like the rest of us hackers, and as others have indicated, a real gentleman on the course and fun to play with. Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues from his golfing buddies.
