Biography
Bin Zhang, DSc has more than seven years of clinical trial experiences in vaccine, oncology and AIDS in academia and industry, combined with six more years as a biostatistics faculty at Boston University with research experience in the area of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis; a perfect blend of academic rigor and industry savvy with extensive and diversified experiences in a wide range of medical research areas. Expert knowledge of research methods in studies design, sample size determination, statistical methods, randomization and the ability to understand the clinical/practical problems, to interpret the data, and to present the results in a simple and comprehensive manner. Big picture orientation with focus on quality and efficiency. Deep understanding of the statistics concepts and principles with extensive experiences in data analysis made it possible to support clinical trials in a wide range of therapeutic areas, especially in oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis therapeutic areas. Working experiences as a team leader, leading statistician and consultant in various environments; have demonstrated the ability to achieve goals in a timely manner and to build relationships to accomplish objectives.
