Moshe Vardi, MD

Biography
Dr. Vardi is a Global Clinical Development Lead at Shire, previously a Clinical Research Medical Advisor at Novartis, the Medical Director at the Harvard Clinical Research Institute (HCRI), and an Assistant Professor (adj) at the Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH). Dr. Vardi has a wide range of clinical, scientific and clinical research experience in diverse therapeutic indications, with involvement on both scientific and operational aspects. His current main focus is in the rare disease space, and prior to that in the cardio-metabolic space, with a footprint in design, execution, summary of results and submission to health agencies. His career in the field also includes a position as an Acting Director of an Internal Medicine unit, and board member of several national and international societies and professional working groups, and 15 years of experience in the Medical Device and Pharma industry. Dr. Vardi is a recipient of the European Federation of Internal Medicine Honorary Fellow award (2011). His research has been published in leading, peer-reviewed scientific journals, and has served as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Internal Medicine.
