About Us

Student Production Services (SPS) provide sound, media, and lighting support to student programming on-campus. As of January 2020, SPS is part of IS&T’s Learning & Event Technology Services (LETS) group. SPS was originally formed as a division of Events & Conferences in 2009. The group, previously known as Production & Technical Services (“ProTech” for short), was comprised of a highly-talented and self-motivated team of students that repeatedly proved themselves to be professional, skilled, and driven. They set a standard of excellence that is still the foundation of SPS today.

Student Production Services is led by a student management team, under the guidance of professional staff.  We offer part-time employment to 30-35 production assistants/technicians. Recognized student organizations can request our services online through Student Activities Office organizational software, Engage.
