10/6: Bedford Campus Director Leads Northeast Integrative Medicine Conference

Yunieska Krug, director of Boston University School of Social Work’s (BUSSW) Bedford campus, brings together social workers, medical professionals, researchers and more for the second annual Northeast Integrative Medicine Conference. The in-person event will feature industry leaders presenting on topics including compassion fatigue, gender-affirming care, grant writing, and mindfulness with incarcerated populations.

The conference is hosted by Southern New Hampshire University and sponsored by Krug’s Mindful Healing Matters, a subsidiary of her private practice Del Marillac Counseling Services PLLC in partnership with the Southern New Hampshire Area Health Education Center. Continuing education credits are available.

Yunieska “Juney” Krug is a licensed independent clinical social worker and a licensed master’s-level alcohol and drug use counselor with certifications in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, and mental health in aging populations. A graduate of BUSSW’s Off-Campus MSW Program, she returned to the School as director of the Bedford campus in 2022.
