3/2: Alum Catalina Tang Yan (PhD’22) to Host Workshop on Equitable Research Practices
Alum Catalina Tang Yan (PhD’22) will host a workshop on creating equitable research approaches by using decolonial, critical race, and feminist lenses. Yan, who is an assistant professor of counseling and psychology at Lesley University, has experience in engaging with youth communities of color in research.
This workshop is a part of the BU Graduate Program in Urban Biogeoscience and Environmental Health Program (BU URBAN). Their multidisciplinary approach to environmental challenges in urban areas trains PhD students to diversify their research and build equitable relationships with communities.
