One of our professors was recently featured in BU Today! Ellen DeVoe, a BUSSW associate professor of clinical practice, has extensive experience working with traumatized patients as a clinician. Her primary practice and scholarly focus includes the effects of violence exposure on children, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. Her research focuses on interventions with children and families to address violence.

Learn more about her perspective on “the science, moral implications, and different triggers of trauma” in the CGS-designed, multidisciplinary course titled Trauma in History, Art, and Religion that she co-teaches by reading BU Today’s article.
