Last week on the JobMakers podcast, BU School of Social Work alum and lecturer Dr. Celine Miranda (MSW’01, PhD’15) shared her experience as executive director of the Hyde Square Task Force in a conversation with host Denzil Mohammed, director of the Public Education Institute.

JobMakers is a production of the Pioneer Institute and The Immigrant Learning Center that highlights an immigrant entrepreneur or an immigrant supporting entrepreneurship in each of its episodes. Miranda falls into the latter category – as head of the Hyde Square Task Force, she has been a steadfast advocate for the small businesses and residents of Hyde Square, a diverse Boston neighborhood known as Jamaica Plain’s Latin Quarter.
