How might violence affect marginalized people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)? Prof. Jennifer M. Gómez will present “Cultural Betrayal Trauma Theory & The Relational Paradox: Implications for People Diagnosed with BPD,” at the 18th annual Yale-National Education Alliance for BPD Conference. Her talk will discuss Cultural Betrayal Trauma Theory and her expertise on how violence within marginalized groups impacts people with BPD. She will also participate in a panel discussion of presenters at the end of the conference.
