Antoinette Delmonico

Antoinette Basualdo-Delmonico is a lecturer in the School of Social Work at Boston University, and has been teaching masters courses since 2010. She also serves as the Evaluation Manager at a Community Development Corporation serving low-income and marginalized communities of youth and adults. She works with the Education and Training programs to develop performance management systems to inform effective and quality program services. Prior to this role, she was an independent researcher and consultant in the field of youth-focused programs, including youth mentoring. Her research interests are in understanding the role that parents play in the youth mentoring relationship. She has provided trainings on multicultural development to community programs and trainings on family engagement and parental involvement to youth mentoring programs. She also has experience working with adolescents and families in schools and ethnic-based community organizations. Dr. Basualdo-Delmonico earned her Ph.D. in social work and sociology from Boston University.
