Cheryl Azza, LICSW has extensive experience as a social work professional and as a field instructor. She has been recognized as a recipient of the Excellence in Field Instruction Award. Currently she is the Clinical Supervisor, for social work interns, in the BU School of Law Criminal Defense Clinic and Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. In addition to this role, she has a private practice specializing in work with youth, young adults and court involved individuals. She is also a contracted provider of social work services to youth and adult clients of the Committee for Public Counsel Services, the Public Defender Agency of MA. She is past co-chair and current member of the NASW MA Chapter Criminal Justice Committee.
