I grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2005. I studied social work as an undergraduate and continued my education at Boston University for graduate school. There I earned two masters degrees: one in education (EdM 2007) and one in social work (MSW 2008). I focused on aging and mental health in both my undergrad and graduate social work programs. In my career I have worked both with children with special needs as well as with older adults. Currently I live in Atlanta, GA and spend most of my time caring for my young children.
