Kasey’s areas of expertise include health policy research and analysis, with a particular focus on the structural causes of health inequities, health insurance coverage and financing strategies, and racial inequities in maternal and child health and women’s reproductive health outcomes. Kasey is particularly interested in how racism and other forms of structural oppression are implicated in health inequities and is committed to infusing social and racial justice strategies into all of her work.
