Melissa Dawson, LICSW received her MSW from Boston University School of Social Work in 2008. She works as a Clinical Social Worker for the Stoughton Youth Commission, as a Faculty Advisor with BUSSW, a Crisis Clinician in the Emergency Department and Case Manager for St. Anne’s Hospital, as well as a Southeast Liaison for NASW. In 2010, Melissa served the Social Work Congress in Washington D.C. as one of “30 Emerging Leaders Under 30” in the nation. She is a known community activist in Fall River, MA where she resides. In 2015, Melissa co-founded and is currently serving as President/Executive Director of a Fall River-based non-profit, Angels Anonymous Inc. which focuses on improving quality of life by responding to the needs of the community by way of a monthly food pantry, neighborhood cleanups, youth scholarships, and various resource drives. The organization has helped thousands of people in her community so far.
