Ms. Gomez graduated from New York University’s School of Social Work in 2007 and since then has dedicated her work to serving Children and Families in the Boston and Metro Boston Area. Ms. Gomez has a keen passion for working with children and families who have experienced trauma. She has worked in schools, residential programs, community based organizations and juvenile justice. She has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Practice and scholarly focus
Ms. Gomez comes to Boston University after twelve years of clinical experience working with children and families focused on mental health and the experience of trauma.
