Trudy Zimmerman, Ed.M, MSSS, has worked at the School of Social Work since 1980 and worked full-time in the Field Education Department from 1984 to 2019. She became director of the department in 1987, and assistant dean in 1997. In addition to providing educational and administrative leadership in field education, Zimmerman has taught Introduction to Clinical Practice, Ethics and the Social Work Profession, and the Integrative Field Seminar.
