Student MSW Orientation
The 2024 Student MSW Orientation will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at the George Sherman Union.
Charles River Campus students are required to attend. The Student Orientation is an introduction to the social work program and the various resources available for students.

Off-Campus Pre-Orientation: In-Person at Each Respective Campus
- Bedford Program: Friday, July 19, 2024, 6:00 – 8:00pm
- Cape Cod Program: Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 6:00 – 8:00pm
- Fall River Program: Thursday, August 15, 2024, 6:00 – 8:00pm
- Worcester Hybrid Program: Tuesday, August 13, 2024, 6:00 – 8:00pm
This is a mandatory event for all incoming Off-Campus and Worcester Hybrid students where you will have the opportunity to learn about the expectations and structure of the programs, explore systems you will be working with during your time at BUSSW, as well as spend time with your campus cohort members.
Online Program
Online Program Orientation Requirements
Orientation for Online Program students is offered prior to the beginning of each semester.
OLP students are required to participate in both of the following orientation activities:

- Tuesday August 27th, 2024, 7:00 – 9:00 pm EST

- Online Campus New Student Orientation – Self–paced tutorial (includes Live Classroom training) becomes available two weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. Login information will be emailed to admitted students.
