Webinar: Prof. López on ‘Impact of COVID-19 in the Latinx Community’
Boston University is hosting a free webinar for BU alumni, students, faculty and staff titled “Social Cultural Impact of COVID-19 on the Latinx Community.”
Luz López, BUSSW clinical professor and director of the Global Health Core at the Center for Innovation in Social Work and Health, will co-lead the webinar with alumnus Wilfred W. Labiosa, PhD (CAS’93), co-founder and executive director of Waves Ahead, a Puerto Rican non-profit organization dedicated in working with marginalized and vulnerable sectors of Puerto Rican society.
