Rev. Dr. Evan C. Hines is the Senior Pastor of the Eliot Congregational Church of Roxbury. He is also the Director of the Melnea Cass Center and Roxbury Heritage State Park for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Pastor Hines holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston College, Master’s Degree in Theology from Boston University, Master’s Degree in Public Administration from City University of New York and a Doctorate in Ministry from Northern Seminary.
Pastor Hines has served on the Mayor’s Interfaith Task Force, the Board of the Benjamin Healthcare Center and as a member of the Black Ministerial Alliance. He has been married for 26 years, his wife Erica serves as a Program Director for Mass Clean Energy; together they have three daughters; Evanna, Ellisha and Erianna.
