On April 22, 2020, the 50th anniversary of the first Earth Day, the School of Theology online community celebrated the work of our beloved dean as she nears her retirement from the University. This celebration was a reflection of the dedication, love, and passion that Dean Moore has had for the School’s students, faculty, and staff, and their commitments to justice and faith.

The School of Theology planned a day of community to be together in celebration - virtually - to celebrate Dean Moore and all of her accomplishments. We hope you continue to celebrate her legacy by watching the event recording.
- 11:00 - 11:45am: Worship service celebrating Earth Day, and recognizing Dean Moore’s work in the area of environmental justice
- 12:00 noon - 1:30pm: Community Panel with tributes from the STHSA and speakers focused on Dean Moore’s work in practical theology, interfaith education, and contextual learning
- 2:00 - 3:30pm: Faculty Panel focused on Dean Moore’s work on the future of theological education, delving into her work on dismantling racism, feminist/womanist/women’s voices, and ecological justice
