Flexible Curricular Offerings for Greater Affordability and Accessibility

STH will pursue strategic responses to growing demands for hybrid and/or online offerings to provide excellent theological education and formational communities for increasingly diverse audiences.
Increase flexible offerings for residential master’s programs responsive to emerging needs

STH’s Curriculum Revision will concretely respond to shifting needs of religious leaders today. STH’s course requirements will maximize flexibility and the students’ opportunities to customize.

Improve financial and academic student support

STH will maximize student support by pursuing strategic offerings of tuition scholarships, affordable online programs, and opportunities for on-campus employment.

Create and advance strategic online degree programs and certificates

STH will seek to launch online programs, such as MARPL and an online MDiv, as well as explore a set of fully online certificates.

Cultivate robust community and connection on diverse platforms

STH will foster integration of online and on-campus communities and activities, including developing a plan to maximize integration and participation of students across varying platforms, toward the goal of maintaining STH’s historic commitment to communal connection.

Strengthen Online Lifelong Learning’s visibility and offerings

STH will strengthen the visibility and offerings of its Online Lifelong Learning program, including increasing participation of STH faculty, buttressing alumni feedback loops, and exploring the use of podcasts and mini videos.
