Developing our Strategic Plan

Core team members from each area of the School of Theology faculty and administration worked side-by-side for two years to develop the 2022-2030 plan. With our Community Principles and Mission Statement at the heart of every discussion, stakeholders discussed the changing higher education landscape and how STH could best adapt to meeting the needs of the future of theological education. The result is a strategic plan that will serve as a guide for “such a time as this.”

Key development metrics include:

  • Strategic work done over the course of two years and 300 hours invested
  • 32 faculty, 20 administrators, 3 alumni, and 18 Dean’s Advisory Board members involved
  • Approximately 100 student participants surveyed in focus group meetings and 50 alumni survey responses
