Associate Pastor for Congregational Ministries, Protestant: Paris, France

The American Church in Paris (ACP) is seeking an Associate Pastor for Congregational Ministries who is centered in Christ, grounded in grace.  

Established in 1814, ACP is a multicultural & multi-denominational congregation with members from more than 50 nationalities worshiping in the American Protestant tradition.  We engage in ministries that enrich the lives of residents and visitors in Paris.  On Sunday there are 400-600 worshipers attending our two services, and more than 1,000 people from the larger community use our facilities every day.  We welcome all regardless of denomination, ethnicity or gender identification.  

The position oversees Christian Education and Spiritual Development, Community Life, and assists in Worship services.  The Associate Pastor will work under the direction of the Senior Pastor, and coordinate with the Pastor for youth and Young Adults.  Candidates will have graduate-level education in theological pursuits, be ordained by a mainstream denomination, and native English speaking.  Five or more years’ experience in pastoral positions is desirable.  Openness to a wide range of cultural differences and backgrounds is essential.  Fluency in French is not required.  Compensation includes accommodations.
