BUSTH Hosts Spring 2024 Bi-Annual Lowell Lecture

On March 21, 2024, the Boston University School of Theology with the generous support of the Lowell Institute was proud to sponsor the bi-annual Lowell Lecture in the Moore Community Center at 745 Commonwealth Avenue. Dr. Keri Day, Professor of Constructive Theology and African American Religion at Princeton Theological Seminary, delivered her lecture titled “Testifying: Notes on the Futures of Theological Education.” The lecture covered diversity of communities and scholarship, envisioning a desirable educational experience, and new ways of being in community in academia. Clinical Assistant Professor of Religion and Conflict Transformation James McCarty moderated the conversation with Dr. Day.
