Summary Job Description
The executive director and pastor of Worcester Fellowship is responsible for the overall health and vitality of our ministry to people without homes and people at risk of homelessness. This includes assuring that pastoral care, outreach, and program development are supported, and that Worcester fellowship is integrated into the Worcester service network. At the same time the executive director makes sure that our ministry with people who have homes, and churches that have buildings, helps build connections to people on the streets and to the issues that arise from living without a home. Supporting these missions is the work of financial viability: fundraising, grant writing, relationship building, denominational affiliations, etc. The pastor of Worcester Fellowship is also responsible (with other pastors) for Sunday worship, funerals, weddings, baptisms, and other programs that support the life of our church. A more detailed job description is available.
