First United Methodist Church in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministry. Our 1200 member congregation has a growing and dynamic youth group with over 40 youth. We are seeking a spiritually mature Christian leader with experience in youth ministry with a group size of 40 or more youth. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The salary is commensurate with education and experience.

The Director of Youth Ministry will direct, operate and coordinate the youth ministry of the church, which seeks to grow the faith and service of every student grades 7 through 12. The Director must profess and exemplify a strong Christian faith in the Wesleyan tradition. Excellent communication skills with students and adults are a key component for this position.
