Reference

Our Reference Desk is located near the main entrance of the library, around the corner towards the right, by the bound periodicals. This fall semester, reference librarians will be available from 10 am – 3 pm, Monday through Friday. If no one is at the desk, feel free to ring the bell or ask at the Circulation Desk, and your question will be passed along to a Reference Librarian.

Request an Appointment with an STH Reference Librarian

Fill out this form to request a reference appointment either in-person or via Zoom. By setting up an appointment in advance, you give the librarians time to research your question and prepare some resources to show you.

  • Please write "dissertation" or "thesis" if applicable in place of a course number.
  • Provide a brief description of the assignment and your topic. Please include the intended length of your work in pages and any requirements regarding source materials to be used.

  • Reference Appointment

    Reference Appointments can be scheduled Mondays-Fridays, from 10am-3pm. Appointments can be in-person at our STH Library reference desk or online via Zoom, per your preference. Please provide your preferred date and time for this appointment where it says "Requested Date" and "Requested TIme." In case this time is already taken, please provide an alternative date and time where it says "Alternate Date" and "Alternate Time." Thank you!
