Viewing Your Student Account

Students can view their student account and make payment online with a U.S. Bank account through  MyBU Student.

Click on the Financials icon from the menu on the left side of the dashboard, then select “Student Account Balance”  to see the amount owed to the university and to access the “Nelnet Payments and Refunds” button (in the upper right hand corner of the page) to make payment or update refund information.

From the Financials icon you can also select “Student Account Details” to see all charges and payments on the student account.

Students may provide Guest User access to anyone who is assisting them with bill payment. Students should visit Manage Guests to add or update Guest User access and permissions. The “View Account Activity” permission provides the Guest User a login to view the account, while a separate “Consent to Disclosure” permission allows Student Accounting Services to share details of the student account and payment status when contacted by the authorized Guest User. **For Fall 2024: Due to the extenuating circumstances resulting from the implementation of FAFSA Simplification and Boston University’s new student information system, late fees will not be charged until Wednesday, September 4th. For more information on payment deadlines and late fees, please visit 2024 Fall semester Late Fee Schedule

Important note: Student Accounting Services routinely sends important communications to students at their Boston University e-mail accounts. Students should check their e-mail frequently. Students may also provide Guest User access to anyone who is assisting them with bill payment. Students should choose the Manage Guests icon from the menu on the left side of the MyBU Student dashboard.
