Electronic Payment
For your convenience, you can make payment using a U.S. bank account online through MyBU Student by selecting the “Student Account Balance” menu item from the Financials navigation on the left side of the page. From there, select the “Nelnet Payment and Refunds” link in the upper right-hand corner.
You can also grant access to parents, legal guardian, or other third parties to view account detail and make payments on your student account. From the MyBU Student dashboard, select “Manage Guest Users” to update Guest User access and permissions. The “View Account Activity” permission provides the Guest User a login to view the account, while a separate “Consent to Disclosure” permission allows Student Accounting Services to share details of the student account and payment status when contacted by the authorized Guest User. For more information, please visit the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) section of the Registrar’s website.
If you do not have access to MyBU Student or Guest User access, payments can be made at http://www.bu.edu/payment.

International Payment
You can make payment to Boston University from a bank account outside the U.S. using services provided by Flywire or Convera (formerly Western Union Business Solutions). These vendors both provide a tailored interface for international payments to BU. Use of either of these services will generally result in a low exchange rate and/or total transaction cost. And, since the information collected through these vendor interfaces, including the student’s BU identification number, is transmitted electronically to BU along with your payment, use of either of these vendors will allow for quick crediting of payments to your student account.
Links to each of these vendors’ web pages are below for more information about the services they provide.
