Take a Wellbeing Hub Cocurricular This Fall
Student Wellbeing is excited to continue to partner with Undergraduate Affairs and the BU Hub to offer cocurricular experiences to undergraduate students. In Fall '24, Student Wellbeing will offer two Hub Cocurriculars, with registration starting for seniors April 14.
Thriving Together
Need to fill a Hub Teamwork/ Collaboration requirement? This exciting cocurricular examines what wellbeing looks like in your own life, as well as at BU. Explore wellbeing concepts through teamwork activities that culminate in a proposal for a wellbeing project. In Fall 24, HUB CC 107: Thriving Together meets Wednesdays 2:30-4 pm.
Wellbeing for Leaders
Leaders have a unique role in their organizations and community. It’s critical that they know how to care for themselves as individuals in addition to caring for their organizations. This Hub cocurricular invites students to explore how to manage the demands of being a leader by learning skills and strategies they can use to promote their own wellbeing and simultaneously cultivate a culture of wellness within their organizations. Wellbeing for Leaders satisfies 1 Hub requirement in “Teamwork/Collaboration” within the “Intellectual Toolkit” capacity. There will be two sections of HUB CC 108: Wellbeing for Leaders in Fall '24. One meets Tuesdays 3:30-4:45 pm. The second section meets Thursdays 2-3:15 pm.
It’s the Spring 24 Wellbeing Experience!
Press pause on your busy routine and join us at “The Wellbeing Experience” on Wednesday, April 24, 3-6 pm, in Metcalf Ballroom (GSU 2nd floor).
This event, intentionally scheduled a few days prior to the start of reading period and final exams, invites all students to momentarily step away from their academic commitments to enjoy some activities that promote community, relaxation, gratitude, creativity and play! By visiting unique stations, students will experience wellbeing activities that can be incorporated into their lives in ways big and small during their college years and beyond!
Each experience has been created to support various dimensions of wellbeing. Try the Hangout Hammocks. Color a mandala. Relax in the Zen Zone. Or get nostalgic with classic games at The Play Station.
Food and refreshments will be served. This event is always a student favorite – so grab your friends and we’ll see you there!

Led by Sonya Nguyen (SPH ’24), Graduate Assistant for Programming, Happy Terrier Walk invites current students to meet on Marsh Plaza at appointed times to enjoy a leisurely walk on the Esplanade. Each walk is intended to help students meet new people, keep moving, appreciate the beautiful scenery adjacent to our campus and feel the stress-reducing effects of going on a walk with a friend.
Walks will run on a weekly basis on Fridays from 1 - 2 pm:
-Friday, March 29; 1 pm; meet on Marsh Plaza
