Headspace for Mindfulness and Meditation

Student Wellbeing is proud to offer all BU students FREE access to Headspace — a research-backed app for mindfulness and meditation.

From waking up to exercising, eating to sleeping, the Headspace app has 1,000+ hours of exercises to help you live your whole day mindfully — not just when you’re sitting to meditate.

Headspace Family Plan

Starting April 1, 2025, BU student Headspace members will have access the ability to invite friends and family to try Headspace – it’s all free through your Headspace!

How to invite your loved ones into your Headspace Family Plan:

  1. Log into your Headspace. You must already be enrolled in Headspace to add members. See link above to “sign Up” if you are not already a Headspace user.
  2. Navigate to the Manage Accounts on a web browser . You must be using a web browser, not the app.
  3. Go to Settings, then Manage Family Plan accounts.
  4. Invite up to 5 loved ones by inputting their email addresses.
  5. Click “Save” to ensure the invitations are sent. You’ll see an “invite sent” next to each person once they received an email from Headspace.
