Information for Summer Term High School Programs Staff
The Summer Term High School Programs office offers five high school programs on campus (High School Honors, Research in Science and Engineering, Summer Challenge, Summer Preview, and Academic Immersion) for students entering all four years of high school.
The goal of our programs is to provide students with a preview of college life, both academically and socially. Students choose from one-week, two-week, or three-week non-credit programs, a six-week credit-bearing program, or a six-week research program. In addition to taking classes or working in a lab, our students participate in social activities on and off campus, and our residential students live in a BU residence hall.
In recent summers, ~1300 high school students participated in our programs, with the majority of them living on campus.
