Applications are open through October 31, 2024 for the second annual Susilo Business+Ethics case competition.
The first round of the competition will take place in November over Zoom. Then, through successive online rounds judges will select the six teams from around the world to travel to the client site in 2025, in person, for the global finals. We’re in discussions with several companies now and the location will be disclosed shortly.

In November 2023, twenty teams from Business Schools around the world tackled tough business and ethics questions in the Susilo Institute Business + Ethics Case Competition. In May 2024, the 6 winning teams traveled to Jakarta to present in the Business Ethics finalist showcase. The Susilo Institute for Ethics in the Global economy is proud to sponsor this first of its kind project for promising business students from around the world!
Participants from all over the world team up to solve tough questions. This case competition is sponsored by the Susilo Institute for Ethics in the Global Economy.
Twenty teams from six regions around the world will tackle tough business and ethics questions. The winning team from each region will travel to Singapore to present at the Susilo Ethics Symposium on November 1, 2023.
How will visionary business leaders operate in in the year 2050 and beyond? Executives, new graduates, academics, and policy makers must adapt to societal impact of advanced technologies, environmental and ESG demands, and the increasing need for corporations to lead ethically and responsibly.

IPHACON 2021 Virtual Symposium
Susilo director Dr. Nalin Kulatilaka, Wing Tat Lee Family Professor of Management, presented at the IPHACON 2021 virtual symposium at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. He was part of an expert panel on “Untapped Solutions for India’s Tuberculosis Epidemic”, discussing the role of nutritional interventions and socially responsible businesses in India’s TB elimination efforts.
