About

Synapse is Boston University’s Undergraduate Science Magazine, which began in 2008, and publishes on a biweekly basis. When we say science, we are focusing on many disciplines, ranging from life sciences to physical sciences, engineering to mathematics, and finance to economics. The magazine is peer and faculty reviewed.

We foster a variety of interests and encourage undergraduate students to showcase their talents beyond the classroom. Whether this is in the field of writing, marketing, or publication, we support students in expressing their ideas and passions.

What Can You Do?

We’re always looking for new authors to publish their work and share exciting new developments in the world of science. It’s a great way to show your interests in science and build your résumé. We also have exciting opportunities for editors, designers, and marketers. You can fill out an article proposal or staff application to get started.
