Description of Impact
Duo two factor authentication was temporarily unavailable. Clients were seeing either a blank Duo screen or an “unknown error…” message when attempting to access BUworks. Two factor Duo authentication for Office365 as well as VPN were not affected. Full service has been restored.
Incident Description and Resolution
The vendor has resolved the incident. IS&T teams will continue to monitor the status.

Description of Impact
Duo two factor authentication is currently unavailable. Clients will see either a blank Duo screen or an “unknown error…” message. This prevents access to BUworks. Two factor Duo authentication for VPN access as well as those using it for Office365 access are not affected.
Current Status
IS&T teams have determined that this issue originates from the vendor as multiple organizations are affected. IS&T will work with the vendor and provide updates as they develop.
