Description of Impact
Emergency mainframe maintenance was needed to back out an upgrade that was incompatible with a system used for student Convenience points payment system. This maintenance included temporarily bringing down other applications like The Links that are tied to the mainframe.

IS&T teams have resolved the incident.
Additional Information
The cause of this incident was determined to be due to a system being incompatible with a mainframe upgrade.
