Description of Impact
Blackboard Learn clients were intermittently encountering issues upon attempting sign-on. Impacted clients received an error message: “Sign On Error!”
Incident Description and Resolution
The vendor has completed a restart of the component that was the cause of the incident.

If you’re continuing to experience issues, we recommend that you test logging in via a private or incognito window; if your issue is resolved by a private or incognito window, we recommend that you clear your browser cache to eliminate the cached files preventing log on. IS&T teams have not yet identified the cause of the incident, but are investigating with the vendor.
Additional Information
As the issue appears to be related to a specific node of Blackboard Learn, clients are encouraged to try accessing Blackboard Learn by an alternative browser, or by using a private/incognito window.
