Zoom is now protected by Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) when logging on. This update is part of an ongoing effort to protect University assets and information. Here are a few points to help you with this change: 

• Logging into Zoom with Google or dedicated Zoom email addresses and passwords is no longer be permitted. You are only able to log into Zoom via Single Sign-on (SSO) with your email and BU Kerberos password.  We have instructions for how to sign in using your BU login. 
• When accessing Zoom from a web browser, we encourage everyone to go to https://bostonu.zoom.us or if you need to use the BU HIPAA Zoom https://bu-hipaa.zoom.us. This will bring you directly to the appropriate BU account to make signing in easier.
• If you are accessing Zoom with a shared or departmental account and encounter a Duo Two-Factor prompt, please contact ithelp@bu.edu for additional assistance.

Please note that this change will not affect how participants join your meetings or webinars.
