Description of Impact

Network services were unavailable across Boston University this morning, which impacted both on-campus internet connectivity, and IS&T services hosted on-campus.

Incident Description and Resolution

IS&T teams have resolved the incident. There is an expected delay in email delivery through approximately 2:00pm EST 9/22/2023 based on backlogged messages.

Description of Impact

Boston University experienced a campus-wide internet outage today across both the Charles River Campus and BUMC. This impacted all services hosted on-campus, or with on-campus dependencies. Internet connectivity is restored, however services are still coming back online. There will be residual delays in email delivery based on queued messages during the outage.

IS&T teams have restored internet services, however dependent services are still coming back online.
