Boston University Medical Campus Information Technology (BUMC IT) is an integral part of the overall BU IS&T community with a specific focus for IT support on the Medical Campus.  BUMC IT also maintains strategic partnerships with core partners such as BMC and the Boston area VA. 

Medical Campus Application Services

Application Services develops custom web applications and databases, and assists with implementing vendor solutions to meet the needs of the BUMC community.

Medical Campus Client Services

Client Services provides centralized technology support (software, hardware, and account services) to most members of the Medical Campus community, including the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health, and Administrative units. Client Services works closely with BU IS&T Client Technology Services to standardize on best practices and collaborate on projects across both campuses. The BUMC IT Service Desk acts as an integral part of Client Services at BUMC IT. The Service Desk offers phone, e-mail and in-person support to meet the technology support needs of the BUMC community.

Medical Campus Educational Media

BUMC Educational Media provides Learning and Event Technology Services (Instructional Audio Visual support) and Central Scheduling for all core classrooms and event spaces on BUMC.

Medical Campus Educational Technology

BUMC Educational Technology provides training and consulting support for instructional/research/evaluation platforms, the Godley Studio, as well as Instructional lab services.

Medical Campus Network Systems

Network Services monitors and operates the networking infrastructure for the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health, and the administrative groups for the Medical Campus.

Medical Campus Storage & Systems Administration

Storage & Systems Administration group operates the University’s general purpose computing and storage infrastructure serving both the CRC and the Medical Campus.
