The BU Common is a Windows virtual computer environment for the BU Community, offering the same experience from home, the BU Common @ Mugar, and other locations around campus.
Benefits
Using your existing BU login, access a full Windows desktop or individual applications from anywhere, at any time, even when physical computer labs or libraries are inaccessible. Specialized applications only available on Windows can be used seamlessly on other platforms, including Macs or mobile devices.

Requirements
- A BU Login secured by Duo Multi-Factor authentication
- To access the BU Common from your personal device, the Microsoft Remote Desktop application, available for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android, is required.
