Occupational Health Services provides an electronic medical record system to facilitate prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses for the employees of Boston University in compliance with OSHA, CDC, and other regulatory requirements. It uses Enterprise Health’s (EH) EMR system.

Benefits

By providing all clients appropriate and convenient access to a repository for all relevant information, this service reduces costs and improves accuracy through the elimination of manual entry and ensures compliance with BU policies, and state and federal health regulations.

Key Features

  • Allow Occupational Health staff to communicate test results, clearance for work, or subsequent testing needs to the employee and their supervisor.
  • Allow employees to complete online health questionnaires and submit documentation.
  • Comply with Massachusetts Department of Public Health reporting requirements

What to Expect

This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for standard upgrade/update windows as provided by the vendor, Medical Informatics Engineering.

First time users will gain access on their official hire date or affiliate start date.
