Using the BlueZone Desktop Shortcuts

When BlueZone installs, it will create desktop shortcuts, depending on the installation URL you used. While all of the icons will not be installed for all users, each is described below.  Double-click on an icon on your desktop, and the session will automatically start.

BlueZone_Mod_2 Starts a standard 80-column UIS 3270 terminal session to access Galaxy and other production services.
BlueZone_Mod_5 Starts a standard 132-column UIS 3270 terminal session to access Galaxy and other production services.
BlueZone_UIS_FTP Starts an FTP session to the UIS mainframe for transferring files.
BlueZone_FTP Starts an unconfigured FTP session for transferring files. User will have to enter connection information.
BlueZone_UISS-Mod-2 Starts a standard 80-column UIS 3270 terminal session to access the UIS Disaster Recovery system.
BlueZone_UISS-Mod-5 Starts a standard 132-column UIS 3270 terminal session to access the UIS Disaster Recovery system.
BlueZone_USS2 Starts a standard 80-column UIS 3270 terminal session to access the UIS Development system.
BlueZone_VT220 Starts an unconfigured VT-220 terminal session. User will have to enter connection information.
